Indications

Therapeutic Indications
Ontario Red Ginseng is manufactured in small batches from select four year old roots. We use a proprietary adaptation of the traditional Korean and Chinese processes of root slow steaming and curing to enhance the root's ginsenoside levels and therapeutic profile.

Ontario ginseng, known for its adaptogenic properties, is a deciduous perennial whose root requires four years of maturation for optimal potency. While Asian (Korean and Chinese) and Ontario ginsengs share most of the same active ginsenoside constituents, the total amount and ratios of these ginsenosides sets them apart.

Ontario ginseng has a higher ratio of Rb1 to Rg1 ginsenosides. This ratio causes Ontario ginseng to be cool and calming to the body compared to Asian ginseng's higher ratio of Rg1 to Rb1 ginsenosides, which warms and stimulates the body.

Also studies have shown that Ontario ginseng contains at least twice the total level of ginsenosides found in Asian ginseng. Using our 'supercool' process, we are able to convert acidic ginsenosides to neutral ginsenosides (Rb1, Rb2, Rc, and Rd). This process can "... effect an increase of as much as 100% of ginsenoside Rb1."1 This conversion also promotes intestinal bacterial metabolism and absorption of ginsenosides from the gastro-intestinal tract into the blood stream. This places Ontario Red Ginseng Organicaps® as the strongest full spectrum ginseng capsules available anywhere.

Storage
Ontario Red Ginseng Organicaps® should be stored away from heat and light until it is required. It can be kept in a purse, briefcase, or back pack. Ensure that the cap is tightly secured when not in use.

Usage
For overall good health take 1 Organicap® capsule twice daily. During times of stress, poor stamina, or poor concentration take 2-3 Organicap® capsules twice daily as required.

Complimentary Therapies
Proper nutrition is vital to good health. Drink plenty of water (at least 8 glasses daily) and juice instead of coffee, tea or sodas. Try to avoid synthetic ingredients, highly concentrated in prepared or packaged foods, and take a well-balanced multivitamin and mineral supplement.
