Schizandra
Schizandra is one of the most important herbs in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), referred to in early texts as one of the "superior herbs," capable of promoting overall well-being and enhancing bodily vitality. Containing many vitamins and minerals, schizandra is also high in vitamin C, magnesium, and phosphorus.

Schizandra's major active phytochemicals are over 30 lignans, commonly referred to as schizandrins, which are powerful antioxidants and liver protectors.

Liver protection from these schizandrins is believed to be the key to this berry's effect on athletic performance.

Strenuous exercise pushes muscles and the liver. Enzymes are produced by the liver to help detoxify and remove unwanted byproducts from the metabolic process. Strenuous exercise greatly increases the need for these enzymes, thus their levels in the liver and bloodstream rise drastically. If the liver does not produce enough of these enzymes endurance is decreased, muscle pain and damage can increase and recovery time elongated. If recovery takes too long the liver may be unable to catch up to demand and become damaged.
Schizandra has been demonstrated to lower key liver enzyme levels, reduce muscle damage, shorten muscle recovery time, and minimize the effort required to obtain desired performance levels.

Green Tea
Commonly used for centuries, Green Tea is emerging as a safe workout enhancing supplements. In a recent clinical study, subjects were given either green tea (which contains some caffeine), caffeine, or a placebo prior to exercising. The patients who took green tea increased their energy expenditure and burned more fat than those who took either the caffeine alone or the placebo. No side effects were reported.

Green Tea's secret may be hidden in the combination of its caffeine and antioxidants.

The natural caffeine in green tea frees fatty acids, allowing you to burn fat more easily. Antioxidant compounds contained in green tea appear to work with caffeine to increase the calories used.

Ontario Red Ginseng

Storage
Accelerator should be stored away from heat and light until it is required. It can be kept in a purse, briefcase, gym bag, or back pack. Ensure that the cap is tightly secured when not in use.

Usage
For maximum effect take 3 capsules ½ hour before exercise and another 3 capsules upon completion of exercise.
